I was delighted to have my first dedicated shoot with Lisa, having worked with her before on various location group shoots. This time we were at Spitfire Studio with two fabulous models that she had arranged for a creative idea that she wanted to shoot.
Lisa had put together the outfits and ideas for the shoot, as well as doing makeup on the day and bringing supplies to make sure we were looked after! Whilst perusing PurplePort for roles I recently stumbled upon an assignment for a Nude Casting based on the theme of a Greek Servant and Goddess. The idea immediately stood out as something that I'd like to be involved in as I have always found Greek Mythology rather captivating and the concept sounded like an exciting challenge.
Having confirmed my role as Servant, the search continued for a Goddess and Lisa did not disappoint, recruiting the perfect co-model in the mythically beautiful Shelley Louise.
With a group chat set up, Lisa was immediately forthcoming in sharing her ideas to ensure that we all had a mutual vision.
On the day of the shoot itself, she gave input throughout the shoot in relation to poses and costume (which she had handmade) making every effort to bring the creative vision to life.
This certainly a fun shoot and a great addition to my repoirtoire. Thanks Lisa for making it all happen!!!!!

I was lucky enough to work with Lisa again on another body painting shoot. I had an absolute blast and the paint looked absolutely amazing! Lisa is a really lovely, funny and very talented woman and I always enjoy working with her. Her communication is brilliant, she works damn hard and the results are always fantastic! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Lisa for the first time last week having wanted to work with her for some time.
Lisa is very talented having come up with a very strong concept for the shoot. I was genuinely mesmerized as I was slowly transformed into a living piece of art! I was very impressed with her vast selection of products and felt like I learned quite a bit.
The shoot was arranged by Lisa and her communication prior to the shoot was great. She was even kind enough to provide lunch for everyone. In person she is warm, kind and very easy to talk to.

I've worked with Lisa several times at open group events before but we'd been itching to do a project together for some time and I was fortunate enough to be asked by her to take part in a body painting shoot with another model at a photographer's home studio.
Lisa is an absolutely lovely woman! Very talented and modest, her make up skills are not only fantastic but diverse (she had cosmetic mud with her once to do me up as a cave woman!) and she has a wonderful collective of diverse make up, props and costumes.
Having done make up artistry on several TV sets and series, it's no wonder when you see her work! Multi talented, she makes all of her beautiful props and costumes herself and really goes out of her way to help any model or photographer achieve the look they want. Full of creative and interesting ideas, her communication is always fantastic and she's very honest about what works and what doesn't (a trait I wish more people had).
Lisa is an utmost professional and regularly checks to see if the models are comfortable and happy with her work, as well as allowing them creative input if they so choose it. She even went as far as to buy us all lunch for the day and is incredibly generous with her knowledge. I didn't even know how to apply lipstick properly until I met Lisa and I've learned a crazy amount since then thanks to her! She's also got a razor sharp wit and she often has me laughing with her fab sense of humour!
This far too modest MUA is absolutely lovely and I always love working with her. I already have another shoot planned with her a week from now and I'd recommend her to anybody 110%! Thank you Lisa for a real fun-filled day!

First met Lisa at a Group Shoot where she showed of her make up talents. She is a very talented MUA, very professional and inspirational. She is also a wonderful, friendly person, so working with her is a real treat.
When she asked me if I would take part in a body painting shot with Meeoko and Benedict Edwards as the Photographer, I jumped to the chance. We had such a fun day.
I am working with Lisa next week on another body painting project with Meeoko. I am really looking forward to working with them both again. It's going to be another crazy day.

She is friendly and was happy to get stuck into the shoot - these location shoots aren't always easy for doing makeup! This is my second shoot with Lisa, which was on 7/8/16 for a 50s poker look.
Lisa is an unstoppable force of nature! After being let down at the venue of the shoot originally, she found us and alternative (and even better) location which made the photos all the more amazing.
Her make-up skills are absolutely top notch, you can really tell the hard work and dedication she puts in
The "No job too big" attitude towards the work that she does really sets her apart from the rest.
I'd highly recommend her for any shoot you're planning or planning on planning, you won't regret it!

We'd talked for a while beforehand so I could tell she was lovely, but she's very friendly in person and my nerves soon disappeared.

Finally got to work with Lisa on the 31/08/16 on a peaky blinders inspired shoot. Lisa has the technical ability but also she is highly creative . Once again Lisa was an absolute star - booked for a three hour stint of make-overs for 12 young teenagers at a photoshoot party.
Lisa is brilliant at what she does, and then goes the extra mile to make everyone absolutely delighted. Brilliant with kids, brilliant with adults and great fun to have on a shoot. The clients were really pleased with how she gave encouragement and positivity to the less confident girls, sharing make up tips and somehow managing to deliver faultless make-up for everyone so the shoot could run to schedule.
